Whether a tattoo has faded or is no longer a desired part of your look or lifestyle, Austin Medspa can help with the use of our advanced laser tattoo removal technology. Our FDA-approved laser is the most advanced on the market and are specifically designed to remove all colors of tattoo ink. Pico Laser is also the best in Microblading Tattoo removal.

WHAT IS THE PICOSURE® LASER SYSTEM?

The PicoSure® laser system is the first and leading choice for tattoo removal and skin revitalization. This exceptional device is an excellent choice for treating wrinkles, acne scars, pigment-like freckles, sunspots, and much more. Instead of relying solely on the heat for results, PicoSure® delivers rapid bursts of precision energy, minimizing tissue damage and discomfort. Its revolutionary technology works with your body’s natural healing processes to restore youthful skin via collagen and elastin production.

  • World’s first and golden standard picosecond aesthetic laser

  • Better clearance with fewer treatments than Q-Switched

  • Over 1500 happy clients treated since November 2013

  • 20+ Years’ experience delivering laser removal treatments

HOW CAN PICOSURE® ACHIEVE BETTER CLEARANCE WITH FEWER TREATMENTS?

Traditional lasers such as the Q-Switched often need over 10 treatments to achieve good clearance. Whereas the picosecond laser used by the PicoSure machine can remove your tattoo more completely in fewer treatments.

How is this possible? Traditional Q-Switched lasers heat the ink in your tattoo breaking it into small ‘pieces’, but the patented PressureWave™ impact from the picosecond laser delivers ultra-short pulses of energy to the skin shattering the ink into tiny particles. These tiny particles are disposed of by your body’s immune system much easier.

PICOSURE® TATTOO REMOVAL RECORERY TIME

At Austin Med Spa, we love the results that our PicoSure laser delivers for our tattoo and microblading removal patients. We feel it is the finest laser available today. After treatment, there is some minor swelling and redness for a few hours and sometimes blisters. You need to wait from 4-8 weeks between sessions, but that is to allow your body to get to work removing the fractured ink particles.
